Below is a list of questions and responses that we commonly receive at the funeral home. We will continue to include any new questions in this section that we feel would be helpful to others.

If you would prefer to call us on the telephone, our staff would be pleased to provide an answer to any funeral related matter you may have. If we do not have the answer immediately, we will find it for you and contact you the minute the information is in our hands.
| Question #1 | WHAT IS DIRECT CREMATION? |
| Answer: | Direct Cremation is the removal from the place of death, transporting the remains to the crematory, securing and filing the necessary paperwork, obtaining the permits, providing a simple container for handling the remains, (required by the crematory) |
| Question #2 | WHAT IS THE COST FOR A DIRECT CREMATION? |
| Answer: | The current charge for a Direct Cremation can be found under our services and prices. This includes professional services, arrangements, transfers of remains to the funeral home and to crematorium and all nessessary documentation however this does not include the crematorium charges which would be additional to these charges. We will provide you with a price for any additional merchandise or service that you desire |
| Question #3 | MAY WE HAVE A FUNERAL SERVICE? |
| Answer: | Of course. You can contact a funeral home to direct a service at your church or in their chapel with or without the remains present. (Refereed to as a Traditional Service.) or a memorial service (with or without the cremated remains present.) May even choose to look after the direction of the service yourself. |
| Question #4 | WHAT IS THE PROCESS INVOLVED IN ARRANGING FOR A CREMATION OF MY LOVED ONE. |
| Answer: | A simple call to our office can start the process. We will ask vital statistical information about the deceased and your relationship. We will prepare documents for you to sign, including an arrangement contract, authorization forms giving our firm and the crematory the right to cremate the remains. We will make an appointment for you to meet with us at our office. We will discuss any further services or merchandise you may wish to select. At this time you will sign all contracts and authorization forms and make payment. |
| Question #5 | WHAT IS DONE WITH CREMATED REMAINS? |
| Answer: | You have many choices. You can take them home and display them. You can have them buried in a family plot or interred in a niche located in a cemetery. You may also opt to have them scattered in a personal location. |
| Question #6 | HOW MUCH DO URNS COST? |
| Answer: | It depends on the material and workmanship involved. Precious metals such as copper and bronze are more expensive than spun metals such as tin and steel. Solid woods such as mahogany, cherry, maple, and oak are considerably more than pine or poplar. Our urns vary in price from $105.00 for a simple bronze finished aluminium urn to $950.00+ for a cast bronze. |
| Question #7 | WHAT IS YOUR PAYMENT POLICY? |
| Answer: | We accept Cash, Money Orders, Personal Checks, and Visa. Payment must be made prior to cremation usually at the time of the arrangement conference |
